FAQ

1️⃣ What is DTF printing?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a process where designs are printed on special film and then transferred to fabric using heat. It creates vibrant, long-lasting prints on T-shirts, hoodies, and more! 🎨🔥

2️⃣ What products do you offer?

We offer high-quality DTF gang sheet prints, custom T-shirts 👕, hoodies 🧥, and 24-inch DTF film rolls (both cool peel ❄️ and hot peel 🔥).

3️⃣ How do I place an order?

You can call, text, or email us 📱✉️, or visit our shop in Sacramento to place your order.

4️⃣ What file formats do you accept for artwork?

We accept PNG, PSD, AI, EPS, and PDF files 📂. Make sure your design is at least 300 DPI for best results!

5️⃣ What's the turnaround time?

Most DTF print orders are ready in 1–2 business days 🕑. Large or custom orders may take a little longer, but we'll always keep you updated! Same day order if order is submitted before or by 11:00am. Same day is not guaranteed after that cutoff time but a rush order could be made for an extra fee as printing is heavy and orders are taken as they are received in order.

6️⃣ Do you offer rush orders?

Yes! 🚀 Rush service is available for an extra fee — just contact us in advance to check availability.

7️⃣ Can I supply my own garments?

Absolutely! You can bring your own T-shirts, hoodies, or other items for us to print on 👚👕.

8️⃣ Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes, we love supporting businesses and groups! 🤝 Bulk discounts are available — contact us for a custom quote.

9️⃣ Where do you ship?

We ship across the United States 🇺🇸. Shipping costs depend on your order size and location.

🔟 What's the difference between cool peel and hot peel film?

Cool peel ❄️ means you wait for the print to cool before peeling, while hot peel 🔥 means you peel it right after pressing. Both give great results, but we're happy to help you choose the best option!

1️⃣1️⃣ Do you offer custom designs?

Yes! 🎨 We can help bring your custom design to life or print the artwork you provide.

1️⃣2️⃣ How do I care for DTF-printed apparel?

Wash inside out, cold water, gentle cycle 🚿, and avoid high heat drying for best durability.

1️⃣3️⃣ How do I press DTF transfers correctly? (Temperature, Time & Pressure)

Follow these steps for a clean, durable press every time. ⚠️ Settings below are starting-point recommendations — always test on a scrap piece of the same fabric first, and confirm final settings against your specific film's documentation.

Step 1 — Pre-press your garment
Pre-press for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. This flattens seams and ensures even film contact, which reduces edge peeling.

Step 2 — Position the transfer & press
Lay the DTF transfer film-side down on the garment. Use the following as your starting point (⚠️ confirm with your supplier's recommended settings before production runs):

  • Temperature: 275°F–300°F (135°C–149°C) — verify for your film type
  • Time: 10–15 seconds — verify for your film type
  • Pressure: Medium-firm (40–60 PSI) — verify for your press model

Apply even, consistent pressure across the entire design. Uneven pressure is one of the most common causes of peeling corners.

Step 3 — Peel

  • Cool peel ❄️: Wait 10–20 seconds after pressing (until the film is cool to the touch) before peeling slowly at a low angle.
  • Hot peel 🔥: Peel immediately after pressing while still warm, slowly and at a low angle.

Unsure which film you have? Check your order details or contact us — we'll confirm the peel type for you.

Step 4 — Post-press (recommended)
Place a parchment sheet over the finished print and press again for 3–5 seconds to seal edges and boost durability. This step is especially helpful on stretchy fabrics.

Fabric compatibility notes:

  • ✅ Cotton, polyester, and cotton/poly blends work well at standard settings.
  • ⚠️ Nylon, spandex, and heat-sensitive synthetics require lower temperatures — reduce to 250°F–265°F and test first.
  • ❌ Avoid pressing directly on waterproof coatings or non-woven materials without testing.

Common issues & quick fixes:

  • Design peeling: Increase time by 2–3 seconds or check that pressure is firm and even.
  • Cracking after washing: Usually caused by too-low temperature or insufficient press time — re-test settings.
  • Film sticking / not releasing: You may be peeling too soon (cool peel) or temperature is too high — reduce by 10°F and retest.
